Toutefois, c\u2019est un mythe de croire qu\u2019elles ne servent que cette fin.<\/p>\n<p>Alors \u00e0 quoi peuvent bien servir les relations publiques? Voici quelques r\u00e9ponses :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Promouvoir votre entreprise \u2013 la faire conna\u00eetre<\/li>\n<li>Percer un march\u00e9<\/li>\n<li>Promouvoir les valeurs de l\u2019entreprise<\/li>\n<li>Recruter des employ\u00e9s<\/li>\n<li>Tisser des liens avec de nouveaux partenaires<\/li>\n<li>Faire conna\u00eetre une nouveaut\u00e9<\/li>\n<li>Partager vos succ\u00e8s, prix, r\u00e9compenses, nouveaux contrats, nouveaux march\u00e9s, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Augmenter le capital de fiert\u00e9 et de sympathie envers votre entreprise, vos dirigeants, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Lorsque vous utilisez les relations publiques pour vous faire conna\u00eetre, sachez que vos succ\u00e8s pourraient inspirer de futures g\u00e9n\u00e9rations \u00e0 faire partie de votre industrie, de votre rel\u00e8ve ou m\u00eame \u00e0 se lancer en affaires.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Faire parler de soi, c&rsquo;est \u201c fondamental \u201d \u00bb, soutient Hubert Bolduc, vice-pr\u00e9sident, Communications et affaires publiques chez <strong>Cascades<\/strong>, \u00ab surtout pour les entreprises en Bourse, puisque les investisseurs prennent souvent des d\u00e9cisions en fonction des informations qui circulent dans les m\u00e9dias \u00bb. Il ajoute que \u00ab dans un contexte de p\u00e9nurie de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre, les entreprises doivent \u00eatre de plus en plus connues pour attirer des candidats et il faut renforcer l&rsquo;image de marque de son entreprise dans son secteur afin d&rsquo;assurer la rel\u00e8ve \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Les m\u00e9dias et l&rsquo;opinion publique ont horreur du vide. Si vous n&rsquo;occupez pas l&rsquo;espace, d&rsquo;autres vont le faire \u00bb, ajoute <strong>Bernard Dagenais<\/strong>, professeur au D\u00e9partement d&rsquo;information et de communication de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 Laval.<\/p>\n<p>Partageant totalement les propos de ce dernier, je dis tr\u00e8s souvent que si vous ou votre entreprise ne communiquez pas aux journalistes ou aux influenceurs, ce seront vos comp\u00e9titeurs qui occuperont l\u2019espace.<\/p>\n<p>Alors si vous avez cette impression de voir partout vos concurrents, malgr\u00e9 la sup\u00e9riorit\u00e9 de votre produit, et que vous ne recevez pas d\u2019appels ou de demandes de journalistes et d\u2019influenceurs, je vous confirme que cette entreprise communique avec les m\u00e9dias et diffuse de l\u2019information en continu sur ses plateformes de m\u00e9dias sociaux. Ce n\u2019est pas l\u2019effet du hasard. Cette entreprise communique et poss\u00e8de sans doute sa strat\u00e9gie de communication.<\/p>\n<p>J\u2019esp\u00e8re avoir r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 vous d\u00e9montrer les nombreux b\u00e9n\u00e9fices des relations publiques, outre celui de la gestion de crise.
